Lovely and large French early oval tilt-top 'table de vendange,' or wine tasting table, circa late 1800s. Oval top upon trestle base with triangular wood lyre mechanism over rounded feet; all hand-carved walnut. Tilt-top fully functional and can be stored tilted upright for storage. Serves as a dining, side or end table, or possibly a breakfast table. Great and versatile for smaller spaces with flexible upright storage!
