This is a stunning antique late 18th century Dutch walnut Secretaire/Secretary bureau or desk. In walnut, it is typical of the very best pieces of period Dutch furniture. The fall opens to reveal a fabulous interior with four small drawers and several compartments. There are three additional full width drawers. The brass handles and escutcheons are original and in very good condition. A few small losses to the veneer (see photos). Circa 1830 in date.
