19th Century French Louis XV Carved Nightstands with Original Carrera Marble Tops

This lovely pair of 19th century French Louis XV oak marble top nightstands is a classic example of the genre, rendered in sumptuous French oak with a gorgeous patina and topped with beautifully veined Carrera marble for a timeless effect. The front facade has a beautiful carved contour enhanced by fine floral center molded detail defining the cabinet door and apron. The cabriole legs have also been graced with carved detail, adorned with bold acanthus plumes on the shoulders and escargots on the tips of the feet. Turned brass knobs add a nice accent, and the cabinet doors open to reveal spacious storage! Finished on all sides, this pair is suitable not only as a bedside companion, but also in other rooms as end or side tables in a seating group, making a great spot for lamps, with storage cabinets for books and magazines.
