French 19th Century Walnut Accent Table, Side Table, Writing Table or Desk with Lions and Shield Crest with Secret Drawer

Direct from France,  the original large crest in shield sets the tone and features intricate and exquisite carvings of standing lions flanking the center shield/cartouche. Excellent style and medium dark finish, perfect to compliment any décor, from French Country to English Manor or traditional; circa 1880. The graceful curving cabriole legs of this lovely table have carved acanthus leaves flanking each top. The apron is elegantly curved on all sides, making the table ideal in the center of a room. There is a secret drawer on one side, allowing for unexpected and ample storage! Found in the South of France.
