Applied porcelain flowers like these are the hallmark of the Capodimonte tradition, named for the royal porcelain works founded in Naples in 1743 and carried on in the 20th century by Italian workshops. Made as a companion pair, they are lovely flanking a mantel, a doorway or a dressing table, and bring a garden into the room all year long.
