Period Dutch Rococo Walnut Commode or Chest of Drawers with Secret Drawer

Elegant Dutch Rococo commode or chest of drawers with undulating form and secret top drawer! Chest of drawers with stunning walnut veneer: the drawer at the top is "secret" (for documents?/could be for placemats, etc.), and the other four have sophisticated bronze handles and escutcheons, and are much more spacious. The ribboned commode chest of drawers has a shaped top above the lovely drawers, each with ornate brass handles and escutcheons, standing on carved tapered feet, the chest remains in very good condition for its age, and is a lovely mid size, which will add elegance to any room in the home. Found in the South of France!
