Set of Two Period British Chippendale Armchairs with Rush Seats

Very handsome set of two early British armchairs in Chippendale style with solid urn-shaped back splats and turned front legs with stretchers. They retain their original finish and rush seats in good shape, and are in very fine vintage condition, circa late 19th/early 20th century. Built to last for years and years to come, their simple classic lines will never look dated. Blending perfectly with many design styles they will look stunning whether the setting is elegant or simple, in a castle or farmhouse, and from contemporary to antique.
