Stunning French Art Deco bronze patina spelter figure with a decorative motif design sitting on a beautiful carved marble pediment, signed by the renowned listed French artist Charles Henri Molins (French, early 20th Century). As an accomplished sculptor working in Paris in the height of the Art Deco era producing popular and commercial subjects and figures of dancing ladies and sportswomen with a penchant for subjects taken from the dance halls and revues that were all the rage in this glamorous and enigmatic period. This wonderful example depicts a gracefully dressed, gazing into her hand held mirror. This sculpture was probably made circa 1930; it has clear influences from the Art Deco era. The sculpture is signed on the base by the artist.
