Elegant French Provencal Louis XV style writing desk or dining table with a generous knotty pine top and a beautifully carved base. The front and side aprons are carved with a garland of flowers and scrolling leaves above a softly scalloped skirt, and a single center drawer is tucked into the carving. Four graceful cabriole legs, each carved with a floral spray at the knee, end in scrolled toes. The light honey finish shows off the warm knots of the pine top and the strong grain of the base. With 51" of knee room, it works beautifully as a desk in a study or home office, and is just as lovely as a small dining table, a sofa table or a kitchen work table.
