Exquisite French carved giltwood mirror frame in the form of a crowned bicephal eagle. Highly decorative frame with double-headed eagles, symmetric wings encasing the central circular mirror. This hand carved wood mirror is gilded with gold leaf, and has beautifully carved details and a lovely aged patina. Will add elegance to any room! Bought in the South of France.
