Product Barcode Id: 00008137
$595.00
French Art Deco pewter vase by Lucien Houzeaux, richly decorated in high relief with oversized flowers, leaves and botanical motifs wrapping around the body. The sculptural floral decoration is beautifully contrasted against textured, darkened grounds with incised linear detailing and a softly scalloped rim. Signed L. Houzeaux on the body and stamped “Métal d’Art Ciselé Main, Duchevillé” to the underside, indicating hand-chiseled decoration. A substantial and highly decorative example of French Art Deco metalwork.
