Used originally to preserve poultry and duck by placing the Confit Pots in a cold cellar, confit pots date back to the 19th century and were commonplace in most French homes, while now everyone uses the Confit pots to add some color to today's monochromatic kitchens. Originating from the Provence, these Confit Pots are easily distinguished by their beautiful French mustard yellow glaze, a signature of Provençal, France!
