As an accomplished sculptor working in Paris in the height of the Art Deco era producing popular and commercial subjects and figures of dancing ladies and sportswomen with a penchant for subjects taken from the dance halls and revues that were all the rage in this glamorous and enigmatic period. This wonderful example depicts a gracefully dressed, gazing into her hand held mirror. This sculpture was probably made circa 1930; it has clear influences from the Art Deco era. The sculpture is signed on the base by the artist.
