Own a piece of French history! Found in France, dating to the mid-early 19th century, these early church placard or plaque mirrors were found in a French church in the west of Normandy. Once framed plaques hanging on the wall of a church, these mirrors are wonderful authentic decorative architectural frames, hand-carved and painted, one with the number VIII and one with X, perhaps depicting the 12 apostles (?), the surround consists of beautifully painted curved frame with top crest holding numbers. A wonderful piece of history, these mirrors could be hung in any room of the home, either together or separately, or as a standalone piece of art in any home. New mirror glass. Can be sold separately or as a pair. Price is for pair.
