Elegant pair of French Louis XV armchairs with gracefully carved wood frames and luxurious gold beige cut velvet mohair upholstery. The shaped backs are crowned with delicate carved floral and foliate details, continuing along the molded frames to the open arms with upholstered rests and carved supports. Serpentine seat rails feature finely carved floral ornament at the center and corners, flowing into slender cabriole legs with carved knees and gently scrolled feet. The rich patterned cut velvet mohair beautifully complements the warm wood and graceful curves of the frames. Four chairs are available and may be purchased as a pair or as a set of four.
