Product Barcode Id: 00007627An impressive and substantial solid walnut buffet a' deux corps with Provincial charm from early 19th century France. This four door case antique is split into two bodies: a lower body and an upper body, all crowned with an impeccably carved cornice with accented corners that fit the shaped body. Two doors can be used to access the upper interior. They are both hung on barrel hinges and conceal an interior outfitted with two fixed shelves that run the width of the upper body. Both the upper and lower bodies have exceptional carved panels that include the doors and large center stiles. The lower body has two doors that open to conceal an interior outfitted with two fixed shelves that run the width of the lower body. Exquisite carving, beautiful brass escutcheons and original key.
