This pair of mid-20th century carved walnut wood armchairs is in the classic French Louis XV style. The hand carved frames are detailed with simple fluting and scrolling armrests. With gently curved cabriole legs finished with tapered escargot feet, this fine pair was upholstered in stunning midnight blue. These wonderful bergeres were kept covered for most of their lives since the midcentury, and the original stunning blue upholstery is in great shape!
