Featuring a thick heavy-duty contoured end-grain work surface with attractive worn smooth rich distressed patina, authentic wear, knife marks, and uneven organic form acquired from generations of cutting, chopping, carving, typical industrial knife work and butchery. Banded with large corner brackets, the rectangular butcher block sits over a paneled base stand fitted with a single deep spacious drawer, affixed with the original oversized pull, ideal for convenient knife storage and easy access, rising on chunky turned fluted legs. Includes a later carved back with iron bull head.
