Louis XV Bronze-Mounted Kingwood and Walnut Bureau Plat Desk
Product Barcode Id: 37519204A very fine and original French 19th century Louis XV bronze-mounted kingwood and walnut bureau plat desk. Serpentine shape gilt banding around the top surface, three horizontal frieze drawers in apron with foliate bronze trim, the reverse with three simulated drawers of conforming design, supported on slight cabriole legs mounted with foliate bronze trim at the knee continuing to chutes terminating with foliate cast sabots. The shaped rectangular top inset with a tooled leather writing panel and fitted with three drawers inset with brass. Bought outside Paris France.
