19th Century French Walnut Dining or Refectory Table or Desk
Product Barcode Id: 00006314This antique country French dining table was found in Avignon, France and is a great medium size - can serve as a dining table or impressive desk! The top is lovely; fashioned from five expertly joined solid planks of old-growth walnut to last for centuries, and it also has two spacious dovetailed drawers at either end! The "H" stretcher below adds strength, and support is provided by four substantial turned column legs connected to the beautifully carved apron with ridged moldings, and below connected to the elegantly carved stretcher. The finish is a medium walnut stain which allows the sheer natural beauty of the wood to shine forth, only adding to its allure.
