French Set of Four 19th Century Leather Hoof Footed Chairs and Matching Leather Top Embossed Table with Original Ivory Paint

Antique French walnut leather top table and 4 matching hoof foot chairs, all sculpted from fine French walnut. The contoured and beveled table top, which is square, frames a lovely brown leather surface with tooled gold bordering. The relatively shallow apron, over four gracefully carved legs, gently tapers towards the lovely hoof feet. The 4 chairs comprise a very unique set of 19th century era dining chairs in an original antique white painted finish with stunning original tobacco leather with gold tooled brass tacking all along the perimeter of each chair. The beautifully aged leather's finish is absolutely time-worn and superb. All the original leather is intact, with a few professionally done repairs (see detailed photos). This exquisite antique French table and chair set, with its fully carved skirt and legs, makes it ideal to be floated within a room where it can be viewed from various sides.
