Superb pair of 19th century French silvered bronze altar sticks made into lamps, having finely cast detailing. Each of this pair of antique candlesticks features a central shaft adorned in a seashell motif, fluted sides and richly adorned tripod base with foliage motifs (wheat, grapes etc.) resting on curved delicate feet. Such candlesticks were typically religious in nature and used in churches, placed on altars. Newly wired to US standards.
