This antique ceramic water filter was created by Lipscombe & Co. for the Temple Bar in London, circa 1870. In the old days, it was guaranteed to offer you and your Family pure, unpolluted water and keep you free from illness and disease. Standing alone as an eye catching antique ceramic, but could equally be used with a simple liner to display flowers etc. Good condition (missing lid) with rich patinated glazed finish. A wonderful decorative piece!
