French Louis XV style slipper chairs from the 19th century, with recent immaculate high end silk floral upholstery. Created in France during the third quarter of the 19th century, this slipper chair features a rounded carved back connected to seats raised on four cabriole legs with scrolled acanthus leaves on the apron carved in the front. The chair has been beautifully reupholstered with a stunning eggshell blue floral damask fabric. Slipper chairs were traditionally used in bedrooms helping ladies get dressed; hence the lower seat. With its Louis XV lines and petite proportions, these French slipper chairs will be a great addition to any bedroom!
