Pair of Finely Carved 19th Century French Louis XV Wing Armchairs

Finely carved 19th century French Louis XV wingback armchairs newly upholstered in linen with down cushions. French, circa 1870. A pair of decorative and well carved solid walnut wing back armchairs, having a shaped back with winged show wood sides falling to scrolled and finely carved arms enclosing a feather cushion seat, raised on carved cabriole legs with carved apron. Newly upholstered in a fine quality voyage linen; the finely carved walnut frame having a lovely natural color and finish which works extremely well with the neutral linen material. A well-drawn, stylish and very comfortable pair of 19th century wing chairs which will work well in most settings.
