Set of Three Period French Neoclassical Chairs with Original Paint

A very decorative set of three original early French Neoclassical chairs - two side chairs and one armchair - from the early 19th or late 18th Century. The open chair backs feature a central carved draped urn with flowers and garlands within two classic pedestal columns.  The frames are painted in a stunning original silver gilt with pale green highlighted with burnt sienna tones. All legs are tapered and fluted. French neoclassical style (late Louis XVI and Directoire) that is more simplified and restrained in nature, almost provincial.
